Biography

Viktor Geudens received his European Maser of Science degree in Photonics in 2019 and his PhD in Photonics Engineering in 2025, both at Ghent University, Belgium. He is currently working as postdoctoral researcher at the research group CMST (Center for MicroSystems Technology), an imec-affiliated research lab at Ghent University. 

His research involves optical microsystems, with a focus on photonic structures in glass by femtosecond laser inscription, and polymer optical waveguides with their integration together with optical and optoelectronic components for datacom applications.
