a large clean room designed for Microsystems production and
development. Currently, we are looking for a process
engineer/operator in the field of electrodeposition and chemical
process optimization in a multidisciplinary environment

| Vereisten /
requirements |
- You have a master’s degree in
Science (Chemistry) or Industrial sciences (Chemistry), or
equivalent by experience
- Experience in
electrodeposition/chemical processing in electronics is an
asset
- You have the following skills
and attitudes
- Precise and exact
operation of technological processes
- Accurate reporting skills
of technological processes
- Good level of English
writing
- Curious, eager to learn
and adaptive
- Team player

Your tasks mainly include:
- Operation of chemical
processes in microelectronics (electrodeposition, etching,
lamination,…)
- Optimization and control of
chemical processes in microelectronics (bath composition,
pH,…)
- Analysis of multilayered
Microsystems (cross sections, microscopy,…)
- Evaluating and reporting
process information to project leader

work towards a PhD and you fulfill the requirements
to subscribe as a doctoral student
- You are interested in micro-electronics applications and you are willing to participate in
application-driven research projects in this field.
- You are willing to learn and develop process technologies for
microsystem fabrication.
- You are able to work
independently and
accurately.
- You have good communication skills, written as well as oral.
- You have a (very) good knowledge of the English language (written and oral).
- Occasionally, you are willing to travel within the European Union.

applications in the field of expertise of the research group Center for Microsystems Technologies on the subject “Elastic microsystems for Smart Textile Applications”.
- You will be involved in the application-driven research
project on smart textiles PASTA (www.pasta-project.eu) funded by the European Union.
