CMST @ a glance

The Centre for Microsystems Technology (also known as "TFCG Microsystems Lab") is a centre for smart microsystems integration, focusing on design as well as technology research in 7 domains:
  • advanced packaging
  • stretchable interconnect
  • utcp
  • polymer structuring and microfluidics
  • optical interconnect and laser technology
  • smart power
  • display technology
The envisaged applications include ambient intelligence, telecom, energy, displays & lighting and biomedical & health. CMST is an associated lab of IMEC vzw.

Advanced packaging:
system-in-foil: polyester foil with embedded microcontroller and bare-die light emitting diodes
